Denis Howlett is
one of the founder members of Amazing Spectacles. In addition to theatre improv, Denis also does
some (relatively) serious acting, though he is generally type-cast as the amiable fool.
He has appeared in My Fair Lady at
the Mumford theatre, Sir Andrew Aguecheek in 12th Night at the ADC and several performed
play readings for Exposure at CB2, one of these included his first on-stage kiss which
was so engrossing he forgot to read his lines. Denis now teaches improv and runs the commercial arm of Amazing Spectacles (see here for details on courses).

Netta Shamir has come to improv from a successful career as a dancer and
choreographer. Graduate of the Laban Centre, London, her dance works have
been performed at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London's west end and all over
Cambridge. Yes, sir, she can boogie, but she needs a certain song. She can
boogie, boogie woogie all night long.

Justin Coleman was raised by wildebeest after his parents were
abducted by space spiders. So it’s hardly surprising that he has difficulty separating fantasy from reality.
Escaping with the aid of English speaking termites, Justin made his way to Cambridge where he
rose to become a City Councillor and leader of the Cambridge Conservative party.
Bored with politics, Justin spurned a glittering career in furniture sales and is currently
a writer, corporate entertainment mogul and chair of governors at a local primary school.

Richard Latham did a degree in maths, and what is worse
he enjoyed it. For years he refused to admit he had a problem, this lead to a Ph.D.
and a job writing geometric software. Now, with the help of Amazing Spectacles, he
is starting to change. But the path to recovery is a difficult one, with the danger
of over-compensation. If you should attend one of his shows, it would be wise to
cheer loudly.
